“Joie Period Care Project aims to provide sustainable Menstrual Cup Solution for Underprivileged menstruating women in Thailand. The Give Back project under Joie wishes to give one cup for free of cost to menstruators for every one cup sold. Due to various socio-economic constraints, women still use period products that could harm their physical and reproductive health being unaware about its sustainable alternatives. The goal of the Joie Period Care -Give Back Project is to address the issue of sanitary period care product shortage in Thailand's impoverished areas.”
Joie Period Care is a company producing sustainable period care products made in Thailand with the intention of encouraging women to lead a sanitary and healthy menstrual cycle. Their products are designed keeping the user’s preferences in mind, making it comfortable on the body and environment friendly.
At the same time, they are making a social impact with their Give back project where they donate one menstrual cup to less fortunate menstruators in Thailand for every cup sold.

Our D4T’s major objective of this project was to reach out to women in underdeveloped areas in Bangkok, listen to their pain points in relation to their menstrual health, and empathize with their needs.
<aside> 💗 Two underdeveloped areas in Bangkok were chosen and a total of 16 interviews of women of different ages were held. The interviews were taken through phone calls and physical meetings in the Thai language with permission
